Welcome
Dear Colleagues:
Welcome to the 64th Annual Meeting of the Society for Reproductive Investigation, March 15 - 18, 2017 in Orlando, FL. The theme of the 2017 meeting, “D2D: Data to Discovery,” was chosen to highlight new basic, translational and clinical approaches and opportunities for harnessing the power of scientific data to promote knowledge in reproductive health and medicine.
Sam Mesiano, PhD, as Program Director, has created an excellent program, which includes three Presidential Distinguished Lecturers, one trainee plenary session, 24 concurrent oral sessions and 12 mini-symposia. In addition to the scientific sessions, we have also planned complementary events that advance the mission of SRI. The first is Connection Corners, an annual event that engages trainees with the more experienced members of the Society. We will also hold three lunch sessions – on Wednesday, we will hold a Diversity Career Development Forum; on Thursday, the topic will be Breakthroughs in the Acquisition of the Omic Data Sets; on Friday, the focus will be Precision Medicine and Women's Health.
