A Statement from SRI Leadership

The leadership of the Society for Reproductive Investigation (SRI) condemns the unfathomable violent acts by Hamas. There is no shortage of complexity in what is happening, but there can be no justification for acts of indiscriminate violence. As clinicians and scientists, we are dedicated to the pursuit of the health and well-being for all. Our hearts are with SRI Members and colleagues in that region, those who are pregnant, in labor, experiencing issues related to pregnancy, and of course those trying to care for these individuals, as well as the civilians caught directly in the middle of this horrific situation. We support those both near and far affected by these unspeakable events, and can only hope for a path forward to peace in the region and around the world.
