Clinician-Scientist Investigator (CSI) Curriculum Now Available

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Clinician-Scientist Investigator (CSI) Meeting supports the career development of academic physician scientists. In previous years, the meeting was open to fellows and junior faculty in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, or medical rehabilitation who were nominated by their respective Department Chair. Meetings included cutting-edge scientific lectures, a clinical trial development workshop, and a mock study section to immerse participants in the NIH grants process.

Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, core CSI presentations are now offered as an online curriculum. Presentations, video introductions, and full lectures are available on a variety of topics important for clinician-scientists as they apply for jobs, write grants, and develop independent research laboratories or programs.
